Have had a couple of emails from John G7MAR. Unfortunately they seem to take
a day to arrive! When he is able he is operating/listening around 14.270. MAYBE
you could hear him but 20m probably closes fairly early.
Gianni = Italian also looking.
Hi Gianni,
Alan,
Hopefully
will make the 18.30 z today ....it maybe 19.00 due to operational reasons, but
will work through to 20.30z 14.270 +/-5
As I write we
are at 65.5S by 64.7W, Peterman Island is off today and we will be anchoring and
Port Lockeroy AN-12 overnight as we did last night.
I can work
satellite down here but its difficult to temp anyone to exchange a QSL with me,
furthest is just into Brazil north of Uruguay.
I would love
to get off and operate one of the shoreside stations down here, but we are
limited to landings.
attached for
your interest/amusment...... both taken in less than 1 week! and at the same
times
coldest /P
best dressed /P
